On May 17th, 2025, Sudan Human Rights Association (SHRA) visited Cluster C of Kiryandongo Refugee Camp, where over 200 Sudanese refugees—men, women, and children—gathered to share their urgent challenges and hopes for a better life.
This outreach revealed heartbreaking but urgent realities: widespread insecurity due to armed robberies, a lack of basic healthcare and medication, soaring education costs keeping children out of school, and deep psychological trauma among war survivors. Many families voiced their need for mosquito nets, legal aid, protection services, and above all—hope.
SHRA has committed to be a voice and advocate for these families at both national and international levels, while working to strengthen coordination within the camp. We are initiating this project to push for urgent interventions, including healthcare access, education support, paralegal workshops, trauma healing, and improved community coordination.
But we cannot walk this journey without you.
Your donation will go directly toward responding to the cries we heard that day—providing real help, real healing, and real hope. Stand with us. Stand with them.
